Welcome to the Salon of Forbidden Thought, a forum for conservatively-minded and free-thinking individuals to meet and discuss topics of interest and to express opinions and beliefs not sanctioned by the cultural Marxist dictatorship, which has infiltrated (and now controls) social media, most of the internet, the education industry, the mainstream media, and pop culture.
We're not politically correct here, or affiliated with any political party; say what you want to say and share what you really think, but do be gracious about it.
(Profanity, name-calling, and the advocacy of harm toward any person or any group is not permitted here.)
Settle yourself in an armchair or on a sofa before the fireplace with a cup of coffee or tea and make yourself at home: You're among kindred spirits here.

"Of the liberty of conscience in matters of religious faith, of speech and of the press; of the trial by jury of the vicinage in civil and criminal cases; of the benefit of the writ of habeas corpus; of the right to keep and bear arms.... If these rights are well defined, and secured against encroachment, it is impossible that government should ever degenerate into tyranny."
~ James Monroe
"I do not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it."
~ Evelyn Beatrice Hall

But what a curiosity: We've been open since September... We have so many visitors yet not a single member!

Greetings to curious guests, new and regular. I hope you are enjoying the content here, and that if you are, you will consider becoming a member and contributing your own ideas and content to the forum.
I envisioned and created this salon to be a platform for the airing and sharing of independent and controversial views and information not widely known, or unpopular among the vocal "progressive" majority.
I don't necessarily agree with everything that I post here, but I believe in listening to different points of view and coming to one's own conclusions. When only one point of view is being shared, we lose the benefit of perspective that might reveal a bigger picture than what we are desired or intended to see by those who regulate the content that we have access to on television and the internet.
I hope to see posts from members here eventually. In the meantime, peruse and enjoy mine.
Sincerely,
The Hostess
