THE BLACK CARD
I never had a "black card" in the first place, that anyone could take one away from me. Those who do have one are enslaved to the issuers of that card, the way that people with a credit card are enslaved to the credit card company.
The benefits of the black card are, at best, trivial and superficial; and the price of being a carrier of it is the mind and soul of the individual.
My advice to any person carrying an identity group club card is to consider the benefits and the cost of it: Are the members of the club you desire to belong to worth pleasing? Do they really have your best interest and happiness in mind in what they dictate to you, or rather their own self esteem and profit? What are the actual benefits of belonging to the club and how do those compare to the benefits of NOT belonging to it?
I'm sick and tired of people conflating race with culture. The one has nothing to do with the other. We are born with a race; culture is taught and chosen.
I never understood the logic of assuming (or insisting) that people who look like you must think like you.
I personally detest being called "sister" by other black people. It's racist in its implication. Unless you are my sister or brother in Christ, or my biological brother or sister, I'm not your sister. Only racists call each other brother or sister just because they share a race.
